Virtual Resources
Our Virtual Resource concept allows you to forward allocate resources and automatically allocate actual resources (your staff and contractors) to these virtual positions. All availability and integrity checking is undertaken by the system.
Forward Resource Demand Planning
Resource forecasting is often simply not done in many organisations due to high workloads, high contractor or staff churn
and lack of communication and planning tools. Any long term forecasting or demand planning is simply out of the question - lack of project and ongoing
operational work plans restrict forecasting to short-term often inaccurate views.
Using Virtual Resources you can design and staff projects or indeed BAU work with virtual assignments. Calculating your resource and material needs in advance allows project, resource and line managers to work together and plan resourcing needs accordingly.
Building these views also allows resource or pool managers to automatically allocate "real" resources to these roles. The system will perform all availability checking - skills matching - and ensure no conflicts arise. Whilst you will always need to search and sift through your resource pool, the system "Match Pool" feature will minimise this onerous task.
Project Financial Models
Portfolio/Program and project; and even line managers, can now financially model their projects or activities in advance and track spend to project completion. Forecast models showing resources and materials are dynamically aggregated to portfolios where a comprehensive view of your forecast and actual spend is displayed.
Exporting data into Excel for further manipulation or to integrate into company reports is also available.
